I'm more or less just popping back in to say that I will be coming back. You know. Soon. Is that a cheat? It feels kind of like a cheat. I'm sorry about that. I'm in the middle of things, and I am active on the account, it just doesn't look like I am because I haven't posted anything in ages. I do want to post some things on here shortly, though, and I never did actually stop looking through my Watch content, or selecting Favourites, so in a weird way it feels as though I never actually left. Award Nominations A few days ago the list of nominations for the Aurora Awards (Canadian Speculative Fiction awards covering writing, art, song, and other endeavours that expand or aid the Canadian SF community) came out, and the publication I edit, Sol Rising, made the list for Best Fan Publication. Between trying to make my scanner work with my current computer (still having software/OS compatibility issues) and work on the, surprisingly large, number of things I do with my time, I haven't exactly been putting new work up here - as you may well have noticed. However, a few weeks ago, the latest issue of Sol Rising (the newsletter/outreach publication I edit) came out, and you can find that [here]. It's free online. And after only 25 years we finally managed to start doing colour issues (online only - the print edition is still B/W). <drigzabrot (https://www.deviantart.com/drigzabrot) provided the stellar cover artwork, and I'm so glad we finally get to have at least on
